Junte la fécula de maíz, la sal, el azúcar y la canela en una cacerola grande. Agregue la leche para mezclar uniformemente los ingredientes, y establezca sobre fuego medio-alto. Continuar batiendo y cocinar por 25 a 30 minutos hasta que mezcla adquiera una consistencia espesa. Es importante batir todo el tiempo ya que si no la crema podrá facilmente quemarse o trozarse. Una vez comience a enfriarse la maizena continuará espesándose. Sirva la crema y disfrútelo.
Nota: Para hacer la maizena aún más cremosa, sustituya una porción de la leche por huevos. Puede explorar la receta usando extracto de vainilla, mantequilla y ralladura de naranja o limón.
Whisk together the cornstarch, salt, sugar, and cinnamon in a large saucepan. Stir in the milk to evenly blend ingredients, and set over medium-high heat. Continue whisking and cooking until custard reaches a thick consistency, 25 to 30 minutes. It is important to stir the entire time, or the custard can easily burn or clump. The custard will continue to thicken as it cools. Spoon into bowls to serve.
